Applications
TV remote converters of this type were used in cable television systems to allow older television sets without built-in tuners or cable compatibility to receive and display cable channels. The Jet 1 was deployed in residential and commercial installations where analog cable service required conversion to a single channel output. These devices became less common with the adoption of digital cable boxes and integrated tuners in modern televisions.
This Lindsay Jet 1 TV Remote Converter has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use and functional. The wood-grain top panel shows light surface wear consistent with age, and the front LED display and keypad are intact. The rear F-connectors and CH3 selector are present and undamaged.
