Applications

The Lights of America 3030 is a classic hardwired quartz halogen security flood light of the type widely used from the 1980s through the early 2000s for residential and light commercial outdoor security and area lighting. These fixtures are typically mounted on exterior walls, eaves, or posts to illuminate driveways, parking areas, building perimeters, loading docks, and yards. The quartz halogen lamp produces a bright, warm white light with instant-on performance — no warm-up delay — making it well suited for security and motion-activated applications. While LED technology has largely replaced quartz halogen in new construction, hardwired halogen fixtures like the 3030 remain in active use wherever a simple, inexpensive, high-output flood is needed and LED retrofit is not a priority. Replacement 300W R7s double-ended halogen lamps are still widely available.
