Applications

The Lexmark Z-series inkjet printers were designed for home and small office desktop printing in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Z31 connects over a standard parallel port, making it a natural fit for legacy Windows PCs — particularly Windows 95/98/Me/XP-era machines — that retain a parallel interface. These printers are still sought by users maintaining older computer setups, hobbyists, and anyone who needs a straightforward parallel-port inkjet without USB dependency. The parallel interface also makes it compatible with certain industrial PCs and older workstations that lack USB ports.
