The Leon L3-1K is a 1000-watt, dual-channel, Class A/B rackmount subwoofer amplifier designed for dedicated low-frequency amplification in home audio, home theater, and studio installations. It features an onboard low-frequency parametric EQ section with adjustable frequency, bandwidth, and level controls, along with switchable subsonic and bass boost filters and a high pass output for integration with full-range speaker systems. Power on/off can be set to manual, automatic, or 12V trigger operation.

Applications
The Leon L3-1K was designed for dedicated subwoofer amplification in custom-installed home theater systems, distributed audio setups, and professional studio monitoring environments. Amplifiers of this type are used to drive passive subwoofer enclosures, providing low-frequency amplification separately from the main amplifier channel. The integrated parametric EQ, subsonic filter, and bass boost allow for room-level tuning and crossover integration without external processors. The high pass output allows the L3-1K to feed a connected full-range amplifier, enabling a complete active crossover system from a single unit. The 12V trigger input enables automatic power on/off sequencing with a preamplifier or AV receiver.
This Leon L3-1K 1000W Dual Channel Subwoofer Amplifier is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The unit does power on, and we have tested it to produce audio output through the High Pass output; however, the remaining audio outputs are not functional. The cosmetic condition is good overall — the brushed silver front panel shows only minor scuffing consistent with previous installation use, and the rear panel connections and binding posts appear intact. Rack mount brackets are present. Because this unit has a known partial output fault, it is not guaranteed functional for all intended uses and is offered strictly as-is.
