We tested the motor both by connecting it directly and by wiring it through a transformer — it ran successfully under both conditions. Videos of the testing are available in the product drive. The motor does show significant surface oxidation and rust on the exterior housing consistent with prior industrial use and storage, and the fan blades show dust accumulation and weathering, but the unit operates correctly.
