Applications
DSUs were used to terminate and manage T1 WAN circuits in enterprise networks, connecting mainframes, minicomputers, and network equipment via V.35 or RS449 interfaces. The unit shows typical wear consistent with previous rack-mount deployment — light surface scuffing on the chassis is visible in photos. The front panel controls and rear-panel connectors, including the V.35 DTE and RS449 DTE ports, appear intact and undamaged. It was pulled from a working environment.
