The Lanco LTX08 is a freestanding industrial desiccant plastics materials dryer manufactured by Lang & Co GmbH of Hanau, Germany. Designed specifically for drying hygroscopic engineering resins such as polycarbonate, ABS, nylon, and PET before injection molding or extrusion, it uses a desiccant wheel or molecular sieve bed system to remove moisture from the process air stream and deliver consistently low dew-point air to the material hopper. This unit carries the full model designation LTX 08.16.12-CD and was manufactured in 1999.

  This Lanco LTX08 Polycarbonate Plastics Materials Dryer has been pulled from a working industrial environment where it was previously in use. The cabinet exterior is in good condition with minor surface wear and scuffing consistent with normal shop use. The front control panel, LCD display, and operator interface appear intact and undamaged. Interior components are all present — including the foil-wrapped desiccant/heat exchanger beds, two C.E.P. ring blower motors (one of which has a note on the housing indicating bearings were replaced on 11-10-11), the pneumatic valve manifold with Kuhnke components, and the epi-o Minicontroller. The hopper and all visible internal hoses and ducting appear intact. The unit has not been powered up or tested at our facility.
