Applications

Lambda Electronics was a well-regarded manufacturer of linear and switching regulated power supplies from the 1960s through the 1980s, later becoming part of Veeco Instruments and eventually TDK-Lambda. The LNS series were open-frame linear regulated supplies widely used in industrial electronics, laboratory instrumentation, ATE (automatic test equipment) systems, and OEM equipment builds where a stable, regulated 5 VDC rail was needed — particularly for TTL-logic boards and early digital systems. The open-frame chassis design allowed direct integration into larger equipment enclosures.
