Description

Key High Vacuum Products BL162 Pneumatic Brass Valve 1-5/8 KF25 Flange

The Key High Vacuum Products BL162 is a pneumatically actuated right-angle isolation valve with a brass body and 1-5/8 in. KF25 (NW25) quick-flanged ports. It uses a pneumatic cylinder actuator to open and close the valve gate, allowing remote or automated control of gas flow within a vacuum system. The right-angle body directs flow 90 degrees between the two KF25 flange connections.

Applications

Pneumatic vacuum isolation valves like the BL162 are used throughout high-vacuum and roughing systems to isolate sections of a vacuum line — for example, between a turbomolecular or diffusion pump and its foreline, or between a chamber and a pumping manifold. The pneumatic actuator allows the valve to be opened and closed quickly and repeatedly without manual access to the valve body, which is important in automated process equipment such as PVD and CVD deposition systems, electron microscopes, mass spectrometers, and semiconductor process tools. KF25 (NW25) quick-flanges make installation and removal fast — the centering ring and clamp connect without tools. Key High Vacuum Products has long supplied precision vacuum valves and components to research labs and semiconductor fabs, and the BL series right-angle valves are a common sight in foreline and roughing-line plumbing in both production and laboratory settings.

Condition: Used
This Key High Vacuum Products BL162 pneumatic brass valve has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in service. The valve body and pneumatic actuator look intact with no obvious damage. The KF25 flange faces and sealing surfaces appear clean and in good shape, as visible in the close-up photo. Normal light wear on the exterior is consistent with field use. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
