Applications
The Apple Desktop Bus (ADB) was Apple's proprietary input device interface introduced with the Apple IIGS in 1986 and used across the Macintosh product line through the mid-to-late 1990s. ADB-equipped Macs include the Mac SE, Mac II family, LC series, Quadra, Centris, Power Mac (early G3 models), and PowerBook lines of that era. Apple replaced ADB with USB starting in 1998 with the iMac G3. This mouse is suited to maintaining or using vintage ADB-equipped Mac systems, and is the type of peripheral sought by collectors and users running classic Mac OS environments. The single-button design was standard for the Mac platform during this period, as multi-button behavior was handled through modifier keys rather than additional mouse buttons.
This Kensington 64206B Mouse-in-a-Box ADB mouse is in good used condition. The body is clean with light surface wear typical of a previously used peripheral. The ADB cable and 4-pin mini-DIN connector appear intact with no visible damage. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
