Benchtop hydrogen purifier designed for semiconductor process gas applications. Uses palladium diffusion membrane technology to separate and purify hydrogen streams in MOCVD and CVD systems.

Applications

HP-100 units are used to purify hydrogen gas streams in MOCVD and CVD reactor systems for semiconductor epitaxy and deposition processes. This unit was pulled from a Thomas Swan EPITOR MOCVD Epsilon II Quartz Reactor system. Palladium-based hydrogen purifiers are standard in semiconductor manufacturing where ultra-high purity hydrogen gas is required.

This Johnson Matthey HP-100 Hydrogen Purifier is being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. The main palladium diffusion cell has been removed from the unit and is not included. The purifier does power on and the front-panel indicators illuminate, as shown in the photo set, but it has not been tested beyond that and no further functionality is guaranteed. This unit was pulled from a Thomas Swan EPITOR R&D MOCVD Epison II Quartz Reactor. The blue steel enclosure shows normal wear consistent with lab use; the front panel controls, flow meter, and temperature controller are intact. The interior coiled stainless tubing, transformer, and plumbing manifold are visible and present. Gas fittings (FEED and PURE) on the rear panel appear intact. Given the missing cell, this unit is suitable only for parts, repair, or as a housing/control chassis for restoration. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
