The Illinois Instruments Model 810 is a benchtop oxygen (O2) gas analyzer designed to measure trace and low-level oxygen concentrations in the parts-per-million (PPM) range. It uses an electrochemical cell-based sensing technology to provide continuous, real-time O2 readings displayed on a bright red LED digital readout. The instrument includes a front-panel rotameter for monitoring sample flow and rear-panel gas connections for sample in, sample out, and calibration gas input.

Applications
The Illinois Instruments Model 810 is used wherever precise monitoring of trace oxygen levels in a gas stream is required. Common applications include inert-atmosphere process monitoring (gloveboxes, furnaces, and gas purge systems), quality control of high-purity industrial gases, semiconductor and electronics manufacturing where oxygen contamination must be controlled, food and beverage packaging with modified atmosphere, and laboratory research involving oxygen-sensitive reactions or materials. Instruments of this type are also used in metal heat-treating operations and in calibration labs to verify gas purity. The PPM measurement range makes the Model 810 suited for detecting very low residual oxygen levels — below what a percent-range analyzer can resolve — making it a standard choice for trace-O2 monitoring in controlled-atmosphere environments.
This Illinois Instruments Model 810 O2 Gas Analyzer has been pulled from a working environment where it was previously in service. It has not been powered up or tested at our facility. The unit is in good cosmetic shape overall — the light gray enclosure shows minor shelf wear consistent with lab use, and the front panel, LED display, and controls appear intact and undamaged. The rear gas fittings and IEC power inlet look clean. A calibration sticker is visible on the top of the unit.
