Applications
Riser cards were used in PS/2 systems to extend internal expansion capability when chassis space was limited. This card accommodates three ISA cards such as network adapters, SCSI controllers, or I/O expansion boards. The riser mounts perpendicular to the motherboard, allowing cards to be installed parallel to the system chassis. Typical for mid-range PS/2 configurations requiring multiple peripheral interfaces.
