Applications

The Quantum Fireball EX series was a mainstream 3.5-inch desktop hard drive line produced in the late 1990s, commonly used in IBM-branded desktops, workstations, and compatible PC systems of that era. IDE (PATA) was the dominant desktop storage interface through most of the 1990s and into the early 2000s before SATA displaced it.
