Applications
The IBM 02K6661 is a ThinkPad-era AC adapter produced during the period when IBM still manufactured its own laptop line, before the ThinkPad brand was sold to Lenovo in 2005. Adapters in this family were standard power supplies for a range of IBM ThinkPad models from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s — including the ThinkPad T, R, and A series — and are still sought by users maintaining or restoring those machines. The wide-range AC input makes this adapter usable worldwide with an appropriate plug adapter. It is also commonly used as a bench power source in lab and repair settings where a clean 16V regulated supply is needed.
This IBM 02K6661 AC adapter (16V DC, 4.5A) has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The housing shows normal wear consistent with prior use, and the IBM logo and label markings are intact and legible. The barrel plug output connector and AC input port appear undamaged.
