Applications
HP JetDirect internal cards were designed to plug directly into a dedicated expansion slot found in HP LaserJet and some other HP printer models from the late 1980s through the 2000s. Rather than connecting a printer to a single workstation via a parallel or serial cable, a JetDirect card gives the printer its own network address and allows any computer on the LAN to print to it directly — a setup that was central to office networking before wireless printing existed. This HP J2552-60003 JetDirect printer network card has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The PCB is clean with no visible damage, and all three interface ports on the bracket — 10Base-T RJ-45, 10Base-2 BNC, and LocalTalk II — look intact and undamaged. The card shows only light handling wear typical of removed expansion cards. It has not been bench-tested at our facility but came from a working environment where it was previously in use.
