Applications

The HP OfficeJet K80xi was designed for home offices and small businesses needing a single device to handle routine print, fax, scan, and copy tasks. Introduced in the early 2000s, it targeted users who wanted to consolidate multiple peripherals — a standalone fax machine, a flatbed or sheet-fed scanner, and a printer — into one footprint. The built-in ADF makes it practical for multi-page fax sending and copying without manual page feeding. It connects to Windows PCs via USB or legacy parallel port, which also makes it compatible with older systems that lack USB. Units like this are still used in small offices, home offices, and by hobbyists who need basic multifunction capability without the cost of a modern replacement.
