Applications
The HP DeskJet 690 series was introduced in the mid-to-late 1990s and targeted home users and small offices looking for affordable color printing. The 694C sits in the mid-range of that line, capable of printing color photos, documents, and graphics on standard inkjet paper or HP's photo media. These printers connect via a parallel port, which was the dominant PC printer interface of the Windows 95/98 era before USB took over. Today they are most commonly sought by collectors of vintage computing peripherals, users maintaining legacy parallel-port PC setups, or those needing a working period-correct printer for a retro computer system. Drivers for Windows 95 through Me are available from HP's archived support resources.
This HP DeskJet 694C (C4608B) color inkjet printer is being offered in used condition. The unit appears intact with no obvious cracks or major damage visible in the photos — the paper input and output trays are present and the external AC power adapter is included. The printer shows the cosmetic wear typical of a used desktop unit from this era, including light surface scuffs on the housing. It has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but came out of a working office environment where it was previously in use. No ink cartridges, printer cable, or software are included.
