Applications
The HP DeskJet 1220C was HP's wide-format desktop inkjet offering from around 2000, targeting home offices, small businesses, graphic designers, and anyone needing tabloid or poster-sized output without the cost of a dedicated wide-format plotter. It prints everything from everyday documents and spreadsheets to A3 presentation layouts and 13x19 photo-quality output. Its dual USB and parallel connectivity made it compatible with both newer USB-equipped PCs and legacy parallel-port systems common at the time. Today it is still sought after for legacy office environments, small print shops, and users who need an affordable wide-format inkjet that handles large-format paper sizes on a standard desktop footprint. It works with any host running a compatible Windows driver and a USB or parallel connection.
This HP DeskJet 1220C wide format color inkjet printer has been tested and is in good working order — a successful Windows XP Printer Test Page was printed from this unit at our facility, confirming it prints correctly. The printer body is in good cosmetic shape with light surface wear typical of used office equipment. No ink cartridges are included; the printer requires HP #45 Black (51645A) and HP #78 Color (C6578A) cartridges to print. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
