A 12-port Ethernet hub from the 1990s that consolidates 10Base-T twisted-pair connections alongside AUI and 10Base2 (ThinLAN) ports. Operates at 10 Mbps and includes an RS-232 console management interface for basic network monitoring and configuration.

Applications

This hub was used to interconnect legacy 10 Mbps Ethernet segments in small office and departmental networks running DOS, early Windows, NetWare, or UNIX systems. The mixed connector support allowed integration of older coaxial ThinLAN installations with newer twisted-pair cabling. Typical deployments included small LANs, workgroup hubs, and network backbone connections in the 1990s.
