This Harper Trucks cylinder tank hand truck is a heavy-duty tubular steel cart designed to safely transport compressed gas cylinders. Built by Harper Trucks, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas — a long-established American manufacturer of industrial hand trucks — this cart features a sturdy welded steel frame, a bottom toe plate to support the cylinder base, a curved upper cradle to hold the cylinder upright, and a chain/bungee retaining bar to secure the tank during transport. The two large rubber main wheels allow the cart to be tipped back and rolled easily. Note: one of the three front push-in stem casters is missing (see photos and specs below for replacement caster dimensions).
