Applications
These components are used for repairing or rebuilding the display assembly on a Gateway Solo 5300 laptop. The CCFL inverter board converts DC power from the laptop's motherboard into the high-voltage AC signal needed to drive the backlight lamp — a common failure point when a display appears dim, dark, or flickering. The backlight lamp itself is the light source behind the LCD panel; replacing it restores full brightness. The display hinges are necessary when the original hinges are bent, cracked, or stiff. The Gateway Solo 5300 was a mid-range business and home laptop from the early 2000s running Windows 98/XP, and replacement display parts for this generation of machine are increasingly difficult to source new, making used pulls like this a practical repair option.
This Gateway Solo 5300 LCD inverter board, CCFL backlight, and display hinges set has been visually inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The parts were pulled from a Gateway Solo 5300 laptop and show normal handling wear consistent with a used system. The Samsung SIC411 Rev 1.2 inverter board is clean with no obvious damage to the PCB or connectors. The CCFL backlight lamp and hinge hardware appear intact. These parts have not been powered up or tested at our facility. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
