Applications

Silver recovery tanks like this one are used in photographic and film processing labs to reclaim dissolved silver from spent fixer and other chemical baths. In traditional film and print darkroom workflows, fixer solution accumulates silver ions stripped from the photographic emulsion during processing — this silver has recoverable value and must be managed for both economic and environmental compliance reasons.
