Applications
The TM-U375 series was designed for retail and hospitality point-of-sale environments where a single printer needs to handle multiple document types — printed receipts for customers, journal rolls for records, check or charge card validation slips, and open-ended slip documents such as invoices or order forms. This combination made it a common choice in the 1990s and early 2000s for restaurants, hotels, and retail counters that needed one compact unit to replace several single-function printers. The parallel interface was the standard POS connection of that era, compatible with a wide range of PC-based POS systems and cash register terminals running DOS or early Windows. Today these printers are still used in legacy POS installations where the existing software and hardware depend on the parallel interface, as well as in hospitality environments where impact printing on multi-ply paper is required for duplicate receipts or voids.
This Epson TM-U375P M115A parallel POS printer has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The housing shows normal wear consistent with prior POS use. The print mechanism, paper path, and front-panel controls appear intact and undamaged as shown in the photos. The included Epson PS-170 (M122A) power supply is in good cosmetic condition. This unit has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but it was pulled from a working POS environment where it was previously in use.
