The Stylus Photo 1200 was aimed at photographers, graphic designers, and print professionals who needed to output large-format color prints from a desktop unit — a capability that was relatively uncommon at its price point in the late 1990s. The 6-color ink configuration (adding light cyan and light magenta to the standard CMYK set) was specifically designed to improve flesh tones and smooth color transitions in photographic work, reducing the visible dot pattern that 4-color inkjets produced in highlights and mid-tones. Its 13-inch-wide carriage made it useful for portfolio prints, proofing, posters, and panoramic photography — formats that standard letter- or legal-width printers could not accommodate. This Epson Stylus Photo 1200 inkjet printer (model P113A) has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in service. The housing shows normal wear consistent with prior use. Note that both the top and bottom paper trays are not included — the printer body ships without them.
