Applications
The eMachines E-Tower was a line of budget consumer desktop PCs sold primarily in the late 1990s and early 2000s, aimed at first-time buyers and the entry-level home computing market. The 304733 Cognac board is a purpose-built OEM system board for that platform and is most useful today as a direct replacement part for anyone maintaining or restoring an E-Tower 633IS unit. Socket 370 was Intel's mainstream desktop socket from roughly 1998 through 2002, supporting Celeron (Mendocino, Coppermine-128) and Pentium III (Coppermine) processors at speeds from 300 MHz up to 1.13 GHz. The integrated video output made this board a self-contained solution for basic desktop use, reducing cost in the consumer segment.
