Condition: Used
This Elgeet No. 56896 stereo microscope has been inspected and is in good working condition. Focus action is smooth throughout its range, and the rack-and-pinion mechanism operates correctly. The W10X eyepieces are interchangeable and seated properly; the optics are clean with only minor dust, and multiple test specimens were successfully viewed with clarity. Cosmetically, the all-metal body shows some surface residue and light wear consistent with age and prior use — photos 6 and 7 show visible oxidation and spotting on the left eyepiece tube barrel. The objective turret rotates and indexes cleanly between the 2x and 4x positions. Overall the instrument is functionally sound and presents well for its age.
