Rack-mount chassis containing 8 Cat5 Ethernet A/B/Off-Line switches. Each module provides three-position switching (A, B, Off-Line) for manual selection between two network sources or isolation, with RJ-45 connectors for Cat5 cabling.

Applications
A/B switches are used in network installations and telecom environments to select between redundant or multiple data sources. This rack configuration was common in server rooms, data centers, and network distribution facilities for manual switching of Cat5 connections without active electronics. Suitable for legacy Ethernet networks and environments where passive switching between two lines or network isolation is required.
This Electro Standards Laboratory 9030 Cat5 Ethernet A/B/Off-Line Switch Rack has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was actively in use. The chassis and switch modules show normal wear consistent with rack-mounted equipment service life. The rear panel on at least one module shows some discoloration and grime, as visible in the photos. All 8 Model 7006 switch modules are present and seated in the rack.
