The EG&G Rotron CX33A33C is a Centrimax-series centrifugal blower designed for continuous-duty industrial and electronics cooling applications. It uses a squirrel-cage impeller inside a molded scroll housing to draw air through a circular inlet and discharge it at a 90-degree angle through the rectangular outlet flange, producing higher static pressure than an equivalent axial fan. The motor is thermally protected and rated for three-phase operation at 208/230V.

Applications
EG&G Rotron Centrimax blowers are used in industrial electronics cooling, telecommunications equipment, military and aerospace cabinets, rack-mount enclosures, and power electronics requiring forced convection airflow in compact spaces. The centrifugal (squirrel-cage) design is well suited for applications where higher static pressure is needed to push air through restricted airflow paths such as dense circuit boards, filters, or heat exchangers — situations where a standard axial fan would stall. EG&G Rotron, a division of EG&G Inc. and later Curtiss-Wright, was a major supplier of ruggedized blowers and fans to defense electronics and industrial OEMs from the 1960s through the 1990s and beyond. The three-phase motor makes this unit appropriate for industrial and lab environments with three-phase power distribution, and the thermally protected winding guards against overheating under continuous-duty use.
This EG&G Rotron CX33A33C Centrimax 3-Phase Centrifugal Blower has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The scroll housing shows minor scuffing consistent with normal handling, and the motor end cap and inlet guard are intact. Lead wires are present and undamaged.
