Applications
The DTK PIP-151 is an AT-style power supply, the form factor that preceded ATX and dominated desktop PC design from the early 1980s through the mid-1990s. AT power supplies were used in IBM PC/XT, PC/AT, and compatible desktop computers of that era, providing regulated DC power to the motherboard, hard drives, and peripherals via Molex connectors. Unlike the later ATX standard, AT supplies feature a hard mechanical switch that directly interrupts AC power rather than the soft-switching approach used in ATX systems. Today, these units are primarily sought for maintaining, restoring, or repairing vintage AT-era desktop computers — including early IBM compatibles, vintage workstations, and industrial PCs that retain the AT motherboard form factor. The dual 120/240V input makes this unit usable in both US and international vintage systems.
This DTK Computer PIP-151 AT power supply has been bench-tested at our facility and is in good working condition. The metal enclosure is in solid shape with light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age and use — typical for a vintage AT-era PSU. The rocker power switch and all output connectors are intact and undamaged. All output harnesses are present and included. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
