Applications

The Drager Accuro and its Röhrchen detector tube system are the industry standard for spot-check colorimetric gas detection in industrial hygiene, safety inspections, confined space entry, emergency response, and environmental monitoring. The pump is used by safety officers, industrial hygienists, first responders, and laboratory personnel to quickly measure specific gas or vapor concentrations — including toxic gases such as ammonia and chlorine — at the point of concern, without requiring an electronic instrument. Each tube type is formulated to react selectively with a target gas, and the color front length read against the printed scale gives a direct ppm or mg/m³ reading.
