The Dowty TC-48 is a benchtop temperature controller with integrated heated winder/coil wheel. It monitors and maintains temperatures from 0–399°F using a thumbwheel dial setpoint and displays readings on an LED digital readout.

Applications

Temperature controllers of this type were used in industrial and telecom environments for thermal management of wire winding, coil heating, and camera systems requiring regulated heat. The heated winder design supported production processes where controlled temperature application was necessary.

Condition: Used
This Dowty TC-48 Temperature Controller powers on and is in working order. The LED display lights up, the temperature setpoint is adjustable via the thumbwheel dial, and the heated winder/coil wheel on top heats as expected. Both the Camera and Heater indicator LEDs illuminate during operation. The camera is not included. Cosmetically, the enclosure shows normal wear for its age — the front panel aluminum has some scuffing and minor marks, visible in the photos.
