Description
Digiteyes DVC Digital Video Camera Semiconductor Wafer Mask Aligner w/ Power Supply
The Digiteyes DVC is a compact digital video camera designed for integration with semiconductor photolithography equipment, specifically silicon wafer mask aligners. It uses a small-format solid-state image sensor mounted inside a precision optical barrel, capturing alignment imagery and feeding it to the aligner's display or control system. The camera connects via a DB25 parallel interface and DIN 5-pin connector on the rear panel and is powered by its included external Heelpac WM113 plug-in supply. An external sensor/circuit board with shielded cabling is also included as part of the assembly.

Applications
Mask aligners are the core exposure tools in semiconductor photolithography — they project a circuit pattern from a photomask onto a coated silicon wafer, and precise optical alignment between mask and wafer is critical to yield. Integrated cameras like the DVC provide the operator with a real-time video image of the alignment field, allowing microscopic positioning adjustments before exposure. This type of compact, self-contained camera module was widely used in contact and proximity aligners from manufacturers such as Karl Suss, Canon, Ultratech, and Cobilt from the 1980s through the 2000s. Beyond semiconductor fabs, these cameras see use in MEMS fabrication, III-V compound semiconductor processing, solar cell patterning, and university research cleanrooms. Replacement or spare cameras for legacy mask aligners are increasingly difficult to source new, making used units a practical option for facilities maintaining older equipment.
This Digiteyes DVC Digital Video Camera was pulled from a working semiconductor mask aligner and has been tested at our facility. Both the camera and the included Heelpac WM113 power supply are in good working condition. The camera housing shows minor surface wear consistent with lab use. The rear panel connectors — DB25, DIN 5-pin, and coaxial port — appear intact and undamaged. The external sensor circuit board and all cables are included.
