Applications
This enclosure supported data storage for Digital VAX, MicroVAX, and VAXstation computer systems. It functioned as external mass storage for departmental and enterprise computing environments typical of the 1980s and 1990s. Compatible with BA215 series systems and related DEC storage configurations.

The unit powers on externally and has not been bench-tested under load. It is missing the front access cover, as clearly visible in the photos. Internally, the H7868-A power supply module and controller card appear to be present and intact.
