The Dell PR01X is an Advanced Port Replicator (D/APR) designed specifically for Dell Latitude D-Family laptops. It connects via a proprietary docking connector on the laptop's underside, instantly expanding a single notebook into a full desktop workstation with a comprehensive set of legacy and modern ports — no drivers required beyond standard Windows plug-and-play. It requires the Dell PA-10 AC adapter (19.5V / 4.62A), which is not included.

The Dell PR01X Advanced Port Replicator was made for the Latitude D-Family notebook line, which includes models such as the D400, D500, D505, D510, D520, D530, D600, D610, D620, D630, D800, D810, and D820, among others. It was a standard corporate accessory in enterprise environments where employees used a single laptop both at a desk and on the road — the dock lived at the desk, and sliding the laptop in gave immediate access to a full set of peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, network) without plugging in individual cables each time. The DVI and VGA outputs together allow connection of one or two external displays. The parallel and serial ports make it particularly useful for connecting older printers, plotters, or legacy industrial devices that are no longer supported by modern laptops with only USB ports.
