Applications
The Dell UltraSharp 1704FPVt was part of Dell's well-regarded UltraSharp line, introduced in the mid-2000s during the transition from CRT to flat panel displays in office and professional environments. The 17-inch SXGA (1280x1024) format was a standard for productivity workstations, CAD drafting stations, and corporate desktops of that era. The built-in USB hub was a convenience feature for keyboards, mice, and thumb drives at the desk. This unit would work as a secondary or auxiliary monitor for a workbench, POS system, KVM setup, industrial PC, or any application where the center screen blotch is acceptable or the monitor is used off-center. This Dell 1704FPVt 17" UltraSharp LCD Monitor is in used condition with a known cosmetic screen defect: there are several small shadow blotches visible in the center of the display, clearly visible in our photos. This defect is reflected in the price. The exterior chassis and stand are in good cosmetic shape with normal wear for a used monitor. The rear port panel, OSD buttons, and power button all appear intact. The unit comes with a VGA cable and power cable as seen in the photos.
