This is a PCMCIA Type II data and fax modem card designed for laptop and notebook computers. It provides dial-up connectivity at 14,400 bps for data transmission and fax operations.

Applications

PCMCIA modems were standard connectivity tools for portable computers in the 1990s and early 2000s. This unit works with any laptop or notebook equipped with a Type II PCMCIA slot.
