Applications
The Cubix ERS subsystem was used in legacy industrial and telecom environments requiring fault-tolerant distributed computing. These systems ran DOS and other 486-era operating systems and were deployed in mission-critical applications where redundancy was necessary. The modular architecture allowed expansion through compatible Cubix ERS expansion systems.

This Cubix ERS-Fault Tolerant FT Subsystem Blade Server has been inspected and is in good used condition. The chassis is structurally intact with typical cosmetic wear consistent with prior service deployment. Seven BC4035 486 CPU cards are installed across the 16-slot ISA backplane, and seven hard drives (one WDAC2340, one Maxtor 7245AT, two WDAC280, and three ST351A/X) are included as shown. The dual power supply modules, floppy drive bay, and rear I/O ports all appear intact. The front control panel indicators and locking console switch are present and undamaged. This system was made in the USA and carries the Cubix Fault Tolerant Subsystem designation on the chassis label.
