Applications

CTI Cryogenics (now part of Brooks Automation) manufactures cryogenic vacuum pumps and closed-cycle refrigerators used widely in semiconductor processing, physical vapor deposition (PVD), molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), and other high-vacuum applications. OLFLEX 190 is a Lapp Group flexible control cable used in industrial and instrumentation wiring; CTI Cryogenics uses it in the interconnect cabling between compressor units and cold heads on their On-Board and 8F/9600-series cryopumps. These short power cables route power and control signals within or between cryogenic system components. Replacement interconnect cables are frequently needed when maintaining or rebuilding CTI cryo pump systems, and short factory-style cables like this are harder to source than the longer compressor-to-coldhead hoses.
