Applications
CTI-Cryogenics (a brand of Brooks Automation) Helix cryopumps are widely used in semiconductor fabrication, physical vapor deposition (PVD), ion implant systems, and other high-vacuum process equipment. The purge valve plays a central role in the regeneration cycle: when a cryopump becomes saturated with condensed gases, the purge valve admits warm dry nitrogen to safely vent trapped gases and restore the pump to operating temperature before the next pump-down. This makes it a critical wear-and-replacement component in any facility running CTI Helix cryopumps. Compatible systems include CTI On-Board cryopumps and Helix-series pumps commonly found in Applied Materials, Novellus, Lam Research, and similar semiconductor process chambers.
This CTI-Cryogenics 8044047 Helix Vacuum Purge Valve has not been powered up or tested at our facility. It was pulled from a surplus environment and has been visually inspected. The solenoid body, stainless steel inlet fitting, brass elbow outlet, and lead wires all appear intact with no obvious physical damage. Some light wear and handling marks are typical for used surplus hardware. Please review all photos carefully and contact us with any questions before purchasing.
