Applications

Solar panel backsheets are used in photovoltaic module manufacturing to protect the rear surface of solar cells and provide electrical insulation. This material is compatible with standard solar PV module laminators and panel production lines. Historically used in manufacturing facilities producing monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar modules. The backsheet functions as a moisture barrier and electrical insulator in finished PV modules.
