The Cotronics Thermeez 397C-8 is a woven ceramic fiber insulation cloth rated for continuous service up to 1500°F, with a melting point of 2800°F. It is made from industrial-grade, asbestos-free ceramic fibers and comes as a 6-inch wide, 25-foot roll at 1/16-inch thickness. The fabric resists molten metal sparks and splashes and offers measurable dielectric strength, making it suitable for both thermal and electrical insulation tasks.

Applications
Cotronics Thermeez ceramic fiber cloth is used wherever a flexible, high-temperature insulation material is needed. Common applications include thermal insulators and padding, gasketing, flexible curtains and blankets around furnace openings, liquid metal splash protection, expansion joint packing, and sleeving for flexible wire and cable insulation. It is also used to insulate hoses, thermocouples, and induction coils. The woven ceramic fiber construction allows the cloth to be cut, shaped, and wrapped around irregular forms — something rigid refractory materials cannot do. It sees regular use in foundry, metalworking, kiln, heat-treating, and industrial furnace environments, as well as in laboratory and semiconductor equipment where localized high-temperature insulation is needed in tight spaces.
