Applications
The CMI SaveTime 2000 Series is a line of networked time and attendance clock systems produced by Control Module Inc. (CMI), a manufacturer of automated time clock and data collection equipment. The LINC module serves as the network gateway for SaveTime 2000 terminals, enabling employee time punch data to be transmitted over Ethernet to a central server or PC running CMI's time and attendance software. This type of module is still sought by organizations that maintain legacy CMI SaveTime 2000 installations — including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and institutional employers — where replacing the entire time clock infrastructure is cost-prohibitive and a replacement LINC module can restore Ethernet connectivity to an otherwise functional system. The RS-485 interface also supports daisy-chained terminal configurations common in larger installations.
This Control Module CMI 2043-014 Ethernet LINC Module powers on and lights up when connected to a CMI Power Supply 2061-002A. We were unable to test it further beyond confirming it powers on, so it is sold in as-inspected condition. The module shows normal wear consistent with prior use, and the housing and connectors appear intact. We have had multiple units in stock; the unit you receive may differ slightly from the one photographed but will be the same model and revision.
