Applications

This keyboard was used with Compaq desktop computers including Deskpro and Presario models from the 1990s and early 2000s. The PS/2 connector makes it compatible with any system featuring a standard PS/2 keyboard port, including IBM-compatible PCs of that era. Spacesaver keyboards offered a compact footprint while maintaining standard key spacing and travel.

This Compaq RT235BTW PS/2 Spacesaver Keyboard (121975-001) has been inspected and is in good used condition overall. The keys and body show light general wear consistent with prior use, and the keycap in the F4 position has been removed and is resting loose on the keyboard — visible in the photos. All other keys appear to be present and seated normally. The PS/2 cable shows some surface grime from storage but is intact with a clean 6-pin Mini-DIN connector.
