Description

Clear Signal 24-Port Modular Patch Panel 19-Inch 1U Rackmount RJ45 Network

The Clear Signal Modular Patch Panel is a 24-port, 1U rackmount panel designed for organizing and managing structured cabling in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. The front face presents 24 numbered RJ45 jacks arranged in a single row across the brushed-metal chassis. The rear of the panel features three Telco 50-pin (Amphenol-style) connectors — one per group of eight ports — for quick-connect termination to 25-pair telco cabling or cross-connect blocks.

Applications

Modular patch panels like this Clear Signal unit are standard infrastructure components in structured cabling installations — used in office telephone systems, data networks, and mixed voice/data environments to provide a central termination and cross-connect point between horizontal cabling runs and network switches or PBX equipment. The Telco 50-pin rear interface is especially common in voice wiring applications, allowing a full group of 25 pairs to be connected to a PBX, 66-block, or 110-block with a single pre-terminated cable. These panels became widely adopted in the 1990s as organizations standardized on 19-inch rack infrastructure for both voice and data distribution, and they remain in use today wherever legacy telco-style rear connectors are in the cabling plant. A 24-port, 1U panel is a practical choice for small-to-medium wiring closets where rack space is at a premium.

Condition: Used
This Clear Signal 24-Port Modular Patch Panel has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working network environment where it was in active use. The chassis and front-panel ports show normal wear consistent with rack-mounted service use; no cracks or broken ports were observed. The rear Telco 50-pin connectors appear intact. Panel only — no patch cables are included. Please view our photos and contact us if you have any questions.
