Applications
Tractor feed dot matrix printers were standard equipment in point-of-sale systems, restaurant POS terminals, and industrial receipt/label printing throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The RS-232C interface connects to legacy POS systems and industrial controllers. These printers are compatible with continuous-form receipt stock and multi-part carbonless forms, making them suitable for establishments requiring durability and high-volume printing.
This Citizen CBM iDP3530 Tractor Feed Dot Matrix Receipt Printer has been powered on and passed its self-test, which produced a sample test print confirming the paper feed and printing functions are working. Connection to a Point-of-Sale system or computer has not been tested. The outer shell shows some yellowing typical of older cream-colored plastics of this era. The ribbon is installed and the unit includes its power cord. Note: this is a tractor feed model — it requires sprocketed continuous paper with holes along the sides. Plain roll receipt paper will not work. The end user may need to configure the DIP switches for their specific setup. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
