The Ciro QS FA 71M2A H is a 3-phase IEC squirrel cage centrifugal blower fan assembly combining a 0.5 HP (0.37 kW) induction motor with an integral centrifugal blower housing. The unit is dual-voltage capable, wired for three-phase operation at either low voltage (220–265V) or high voltage (380–460V), and is rated for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz operation. It was previously used as part of a varnish cooling system. The assembly includes a white sheet-metal duct box on the inlet side with a flexible duct hose attachment, and a circular multi-pin panel-mount connector on the base for power connection.

Applications
Ciro QS FA series motors are compact IEC-frame squirrel cage induction motors combined with centrifugal (squirrel cage) blower fans, commonly used for process air and fume extraction in industrial coating, varnishing, and finishing systems. This unit's previous role was in a varnish cooling system, where the blower circulates or exhausts solvent-laden air away from the coating process. This type of blower-motor assembly is also found in paint booth ventilation, cabinet cooling, drying oven air circulation, and similar industrial HVAC or process-exhaust applications. The dual-voltage, dual-frequency design makes the motor suitable for use in both North American (60 Hz) and European (50 Hz) electrical environments. The IP 55 rating provides protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for industrial shop environments. Cleaning the blower impeller and housing of existing varnish residue will be necessary before returning to service.
This Ciro QS FA 71M2A H 0.5 HP Squirrel Cage Blower Fan Motor was previously used in a varnish cooling system, and the photos show the expected result: there is heavy varnish and resin buildup coating the interior of the blower housing, the squirrel cage fan blades, and the duct box inlet port. The motor and blower assembly otherwise appear structurally intact — the motor body is clean and shows normal light surface wear, and the base and housing show general used-condition wear with some staining. The unit is currently wired in the high-voltage configuration (380-460V) but can be rewired for low-voltage operation (220-265V). The multi-pin circular connector on the base is present.
