Burr-Brown DEM-DSP101/102/201/202 DSP Evaluation Fixture Board w/ Cables Modules
The Burr-Brown DEM-DSP102/202C is an evaluation fixture designed to demonstrate and develop with the Burr-Brown DSP101, DSP102, DSP201, and DSP202 family of digital signal processor ICs. The board provides a complete hardware platform for evaluating ADC and DAC signal-chain performance, with dedicated sections for the DSP102 (ADC function) and DSP202 (DAC function) devices, configurable via onboard jumper blocks and trimmer potentiometers. Three BNC connectors provide external clock and codec clock inputs, and four DB-15 connectors handle signal I/O.

Applications
The DSP101/102/201/202 family from Burr-Brown (now part of Texas Instruments) are delta-sigma digital signal processor ICs used in precision audio and instrumentation ADC/DAC applications. These devices were commonly used in digital audio, industrial measurement, and communications signal-chain designs during the 1990s, implementing oversampling and digital filtering functions to achieve high-resolution analog conversion. The DEM-DSP102/202C evaluation fixture gives engineers a ready-made platform to prototype, test, and characterize the performance of these ICs — evaluating codec clock configurations, external filter options via the daughter board headers, and ADC/DAC signal paths — without having to design a custom PCB from scratch. The included unpopulated daughter boards allow engineers to populate their own op-amp or filter stages and plug them directly into the evaluation fixture. This type of fixture is used in university labs, R&D departments, and by engineers maintaining or reverse-engineering legacy audio or instrumentation equipment that originally incorporated the DSP10x/20x devices.
This Burr-Brown DEM-DSP102/202C DSP Evaluation Fixture has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The main evaluation board shows light handling wear consistent with lab use, and all four DB-15 connectors and BNC connectors appear intact and undamaged. The set includes the main evaluation board, a shielded ribbon cable, a multicolor wire harness, a populated daughter board with Texas Instruments NE5532P op-amps, additional populated daughter modules, and several unpopulated PCBs — all as visible in the photos. The original Burr-Brown box is also included. It has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but it came out of a working environment where it was previously in use.
