An 8-port Ethernet repeater designed for 10BASE5 coaxial networks. This unit regenerates and retransmits signals across thick Ethernet cable segments, extending network reach and connectivity.

Applications
10BASE5 repeaters were used to extend thick Ethernet cable runs in legacy network installations, common in 1980s and 1990s enterprise environments. The LN410A supported daisy-chaining of coaxial segments and connection of AUI transceivers for compatibility with older network hardware. This equipment is now encountered in vintage computing systems, museum installations, and legacy network archaeology.
