Applications
This modem was used in IBM PC XT, AT, and ISA-compatible systems during the 1980s and early 1990s. It provided dial-up internet and bulletin board system (BBS) connectivity through standard telephone lines. The card was inserted into an available ISA slot and connected via RJ-11 jack to a telephone outlet. Suitable for retro computing builds, vintage system restoration, or collectors of legacy computing hardware.
